BLACK 47

This Rocket Ship is ready for lift off!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I get requests for certain styles of builds, usually I have to steer them in a slightly different direction.

But this guy knew what he wanted, he liked the Flat Black, tough and bare to the bones look and I thought I would do as he asked and build this old bomb to run around Hollywood and get some heads turning .

Black 47 is from the old Irish potato Famin back in 1847, this may look like a bad potato, more like a Hot tomale, but this is definatly a Motorcycle of the era of yesteryear.

Being of Irish desent, the guy wanted to have 47 somewhere, so I chose to add the detail to the speedometer and leave the rest as he wanted.

I did go my route with checkers and blingy stuff, but he really did not want that style.

And even though I was so gutted to have to tear a perfect show bike gas tank and side covers back down to primer, it was HIS bike after all and I gave in and built exactly what he wanted.

I know this is right up his alley and with a worked Motor and a tough sounding exhaust, this will definatly get some ears twitiching.

If you took 3 words out of the next sentence.

This IRISH Black Motorcycle, goe's like ROCKET and sounds like a BOMB.

It would definatly conjour up the wrong idea.

This Classic Velvet Steed is now ripe for picking and getting on the tarmac and enjoy the crazy traffic of SoCal's roads.

A tough machine that will perform greatly and, suprise alot of newer Motorcycles.

This no bling machine will be a real handful and I am sure that he will get many miles of smiles.

I added some original Koni shocks from the Cafe days of the 1970's from back home in the United kingdom and these are great shocks.

Rare but make the bike and look like they were made for this ride.

The exhaust barks out but, not annoyingly enough to have Mr. Plod give you an invitation to see him later.

This is fun to ride and I am sure will really be what the customer ordered.

The customer wanted a Hot rod flat Black Cafe and this is exactly how he wanted the ride to look.

Bare to the bone but a healthy Motor, this Cafe will tear the tarmac up.

Fenderless and hungry, soon to be busy on the streets in Hollywood.

Seat is basic and ready to Race.

My gas tank will help him get to where ever and look like it was off an old Road Race motorcycle.

Motor is built and pulls really well, this will be a fun ride for sure.

Old style rear end with my touch, and cool seat, makes this a head turner for anyday of the week, ok, maybe not Wednesday.

Check out the Guage, being of Irish desent, this say's it all.

The tach looks cool too, and is now ready to get into the high numbers.
