750 Cafe, from stocker to Rocker.

A quick build from stocker to a cool ROCKER.

Here is a stockish CB750 that I picked up locally and the paint work was as boring as a book of receipes for people with no gnashers.

So, with a garage load of bits bobs and whatyamecallits, I had a go at changing this ride into something pretty cool and would make ya wanna go out there ya self and start wrenching on your baby elephant.

I spent a bit of time deciding what to do, this was a year or so ago then and if I knew now, back then i would of shortened the rear fender etc, but it is still a cool Cafe.

I painted the gas tank, side panels etc black, as Blue is just so drab.

Bunged the old checkers on as I love them winning decals, then went about taking the snot box of an exhaust off and fitted my own 4 into one, and that was louder than an orange sweater.

I then changed a few things like the seat, the original seat had lost alot of its foam and was about as padded as a cheap saddle.

So I took it all apart and this was one of my first Cafe seats I fitted and it felt great to ride the bike with this on, plus, still use the stock hinges etc.

I eventually sold this Cafe Racer to CHRIS CODDINGTON , yep BOYD CODDINGTONS lad (American Hot Rod), he loved it and has now spent more time on it and rides its regularly.

The bike also has an aluminum rear rim from a Cb750A and is a cool rim to use, very simular to all the akronts etc of the time, just not a deep shoulder though, but effective.

So, another Cafe is out there on the street barking louder than a dog at a mailman.

Hope ya dug the bike and check my others as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve.

Here is the motor, I cleaned her up as it was a grubby as an old spud sack.

The gas tank just had to be changed.

Made my signature Cafe seat and what a change.

Made a 4 into and painted Blacker than King kongs armpit.

Grinning like a cat with a can opener.

Clubman bars , nothing like them.

Rattling my neighbours windows.

Cleaned up gauges.
