Here is a real killer ride for all you Cafe fans.
How about this 1974 750-4 that I have turned and moulded into another cool and fun Cafe Racer.
This has some nice little tricks to it and am sure you will have miles of smiles riding the curves in your town?
First off, here is a small list of things about this bike, you decide if you are the right Bloke, or bird for this ride and go from there.
The frame is freshley powder coated SILVER, and the battery box, triple tree and swing arm, all got the same treatment.
Then we have a look at the "oh So Cool Rims" These look like the OLD Akronts, but infact, they arem Exel rims from Japan for CB750's and have a bigger set of shoulders than a line backer.
New spokes adorn the polished hubs and new Michelin 100/90 X 19 tir (front) Michelin 120/90/18 (rear) and tubes, take care of safety issues.
Have a look at that Gas tank, thats an Original Paul Dunstall Cafe tank and has just had 6 coats of Candy Red/orange paint laid on it, as well as the side panels and headlight bucket.
New turn signals that are brighter than the northern star, sit forward and aft.
The seat is a custom Cafe special and has been freshley upholstered with it still being able to have the hinges in place.
This cafe has a completly fresh set of carbs that is cleaner than your dinner plate once the dogs had a go at it.
All the nuts/bolts and brackets have been cad plated.
New pod filters have also been added to the carbs.
Have a look at the photo's and you will see this is a great ride with loads of potencial for fun and speed.
The rear has new 530 chain, New brake shoes too.
I am sure you will enjoy this classic ride and get plenty of envious looks from all that feast their eyes on it.
This has NEW fork tubes and fork springs etc.
New foot pegs.
polished fork bottoms.
Bobbed and painted fenders with racing stripe.
The exhaust pipe is an unusual circuit racer 4 into one that has been painted with 1500 degree paint and sounds really nice with a deep tone .
The bike has a California title, but it is not tagged, they ran out two years ago.
The bike has new throttle cables and a clutch cable too.
And this ride has the cool Original and refurbished KONI shocks, a MUST for cafe lovers.
Steering bearings have been removed and tapered bearings with new races installed, much smoother and safer.
The engine has all new gaskets to and the valve cover has been polished.
